What we move
From a single pallet to an abnormal load that needs a movement order and escorts, we handle the lot. Our most-used services across the county are hiab and crane hire for self-loading deliveries, plant and machinery transport for the construction trade, and heavy, oversized and abnormal load haulage including static caravans and portable buildings. Alongside those we run full and part loads, container haulage from the ports, refrigerated transport, express same-day work and palletised distribution, with warehousing available when you need goods held before onward delivery.
Road links across the county
The M1 runs north to south through the west of the county at junctions 15, 15A, 16 and 18. The A14 carries east-west freight from the M1 across to Felixstowe via Kettering, Corby and Thrapston, which makes it the key route for container work. The A45 links Northampton to Wellingborough and Rushden and on to the A14, while the A43 connects Northampton to Towcester and the M40 in one direction and Kettering and Corby in the other. We plan abnormal load routes around low bridges, weight limits and width restrictions, and arrange the notifications and escorts where the load needs them.
