Northampton is where we are based, so it is the town we know best. It is also one of the busiest distribution centres in the country, with huge logistics parks around Brackmills, Swan Valley and the Pineham and Brackmills industrial estates feeding goods out across the UK. Whether you run a warehouse on Brackmills, a builders’ merchant in the town or you are a homeowner moving a static caravan, we can collect and deliver locally the same day or plan a longer haul.
Services we run most in Northampton
The town’s mix of distribution sheds and construction sites means we are kept busy with palletised distribution, full and part loads, and hiab deliveries that drop building materials, cabins and steel straight off the truck where there is no forklift on site. We also handle plant and machinery transport for the contractors working around the Northampton Waterside and the town’s many ongoing housing schemes.
- Hiab and crane hire for self-loading deliveries
- Palletised distribution across the country
- Plant and machinery transport
- Abnormal and oversized loads
Road links and abnormal load access
Northampton sits between M1 junctions 15, 15A and 16, with the A45 dual carriageway skirting the south and east of the town and linking it to the A14 and the ports. The A43 heads south to Towcester and the M40, and the A508 and A428 give us routes towards Market Harborough and Bedford. For abnormal loads we plan around the town’s tighter Victorian streets and the river crossings, and we arrange the police and highway notifications and any escort vehicles the movement order calls for.
What we need to quote
Give us the postcodes for collection and delivery, the weight and dimensions of the load, and your preferred dates. For plant or oversized items a couple of photos let us pick the right trailer first time.

Northampton FAQs
Can you deliver to Brackmills with a hiab if we have no forklift? Yes. A hiab lorry loader lets the driver lift the load off and place it where you need it, which is ideal for sites and yards on Brackmills and Swan Valley that have no handling equipment.
Do you offer same-day collections within Northampton? We do. If something needs to move urgently across town or out to the M1, our express same-day service can usually have a vehicle with you quickly. Call to check availability.
