Raunds has become one of the leading logistics locations in Northamptonshire, thanks to its spot right on the A45 next to junction 13 of the A14. The 160-acre Warth Park is on the edge of town and houses major operators including DPD, Dr Martens, DSV and Howden Joinery, alongside other distribution and depot activity. With the A14 running from the container port at Felixstowe through to the M6, Raunds is built for the movement of freight, and we serve it from our Northampton yard.
Haulage and distribution in Raunds
The scale of warehousing at Warth Park means a steady demand for flexible transport, from single pallets through to full artic loads. We provide the lot.
- Full and part loads serving Warth Park and the wider town
- Palletised distribution on a UK-wide next-day network
- Container haulage onto the A14 for Felixstowe and London Gateway
- Hiab offload for sites without their own handling equipment
- Same-day express for urgent dispatches
A45 and A14 connectivity
Raunds sits where the A45 and A14 meet, which is one of the best-connected points in the county for outbound freight. The A45 runs west to Northampton and the M1; the A14 runs east to the ports and west to the Midlands; and the A605 corridor links the town north towards Thrapston and Oundle. We use those routes to keep transits short, and we arrange notifications and escorts for any abnormal loads.

Raunds haulage FAQs
Do you collect from Warth Park?
Yes. Warth Park is a regular destination for us, and we handle collections and deliveries for the logistics operators and depots based there, including pallet and full-load work.
How quickly can you get a load to Felixstowe?
Raunds is on the A14, which runs directly to Felixstowe, so port runs are quick to plan. For time-critical boxes we also offer same-day container haulage.
