Rushden sits in east Northamptonshire where the A6 meets the A45, a few minutes from the A14. The town has shifted from its old boot and shoe trade to retail and distribution, with the Rushden Lakes development and the industrial estates around Sanders Lodge and Crown Park drawing in logistics and trade businesses. We cover Rushden, Higham Ferrers and the surrounding villages daily from our Northampton depot.
Services we run locally
Retail and distribution around Rushden Lakes and Sanders Lodge keep us busy with palletised distribution and full and part loads. Local builders and the steady stream of housing development around the town call on our hiab deliveries and plant transport, while businesses near the A14 use us for container haulage to and from the ports.
Road links and abnormal load access
The A6 runs through Rushden, linking north to Kettering and south towards Bedford, while the A45 connects the town west to Wellingborough and Northampton and east to the A14 near Thrapston. That A14 link is the gateway for container and trunk traffic. For wide or heavy loads we plan around the town centre’s tighter streets and the river crossings, using the A45 and A14 dual carriageways wherever possible and arranging escorts where a movement order requires them.

Rushden FAQs
Do you deliver pallets to retailers at Rushden Lakes? Yes, we run palletised distribution to retail and trade units across Rushden Lakes and the Sanders Lodge and Crown Park estates, from a single pallet upwards.
Can you move a static caravan from the Rushden area? We can. A static caravan is a wide load, so we plan the route, arrange any permits and provide escorts where the width requires them. Send us the dimensions and collection address for a price.
